Note for Specialized bike frame:
Specialized aluminium frame is a standard bb30 bottom bracket shell.
Specialized road carbon frame with non-standard pf30 (shorter 61mm vs standard 68)
with an insert expoxied into the bottom bracket shell, convert OSBB61 to BB30.

BB30 was introduced by Cannondale which became an open standard since 2000.
In contrast to the  BSA standard, the bottom bracket of BB30 frame has no threads.
The bearings are directly pressed into the bottom bracket shell, which has a diameter of 42mm.
